My name is Gloria, and I am no different than you.I went every 2 weeks for my mani pedi and enjoyed my time, until I realized I was nothing more than a dollar bill to the salon I was using. I changed salons and it was the same. Good service but it lacked no matter where I went it was the same. The final straw was when I went and got a pedicure for an event I was attending, not only was the service bad, but I was cut (not nipped) and was treated as if it was my fault. After about 2 weeks I developed fungus in all my toenails. I knew then there had to be a better way.
During Covid the beauty industry was shut down. Like everyone else I had a lot of time on my hands and spent time on social media. There I found my mentor, Lori Halloway, “The Meticulous Manicurist.” I was hooked. I watched her day and night. The way she speaks to her guests with compassion and care...I wanted to do what she was doing! I continued to watch and took her course “Meticulous Manicurist Nail Academy.” I graduated and was certified as a Meticulous Manicurist Graduate specializing as a toenail and restoration. nail technician.
